Man of La Mancha Discussion

Don Quixote by Cervantes is one of the most influential works of literature ever written. It is almost exclusively cited as the origin of novelistic fiction, and its portrayal of its titular character, the idealist living in a world without ideals, has spawned the usage of the term "Quixotic." Only a very small handful of literary characters have generated a word based on their name, and only 2 or 3 have become so widely popular.

In the Literary Canon Club, we have finished reading Don Quixote, and we invite everyone to discuss its lasting impact. We will be discussing the Broadway musical (via the movie with Peter O'Toole & Sophia Loren) "Man of La Mancha." You can watch it on Amazon.
